Pythagorean work was sown through Europe in secret orders which explains the blank spot in history, a practice without egoism, prominence or power. A silent phase of hylozoics gradually developed requisite qualities of initiates internally which was not publicly evident nor registered. Consciousness development of qualities was secretly rationalized by initiates.  Knowledge of reincarnation was excluded by the Roman church and intervening cultures focussed on status rather than self development like treating psychologically veiled repulsions. Pythagoras' small colony was destroyed thousands of years ago, and the modern vicinity is scanned by arial photo to generally see the landscape around Laurency's reference, "outside the town of Taormina in Sicily".

Today's badly disjointed world view can then be traded in for contemplations and reflections on the Pythagoreans. It is a large subject matter which is here previewed just in specific parts.

“Pythagoras founded a small colony outside the town of Taormina in Sicily, and there he erected the buildings of his order. Later these buildings were totally destroyed by the mob, easily excited as usual, and Pythagoras was murdered.

“In 1875, the esoteric knowledge orders were finally closed, so that nobody was initiated into any such order after that year.

“The esoteric world view and life view has been publicized, so that anyone can gain much knowledge of the matter and consciousness aspects that was formerly strictly secret (even to initiates of lower degrees). Link
